  • Vinson Velo Coaching Concepts believes in coaching an athlete individually according to his or her own personal goals. All aspects of coaching are individualized. As a coach, my personal goal to to help an athlete accomplish their own. I ride with my clients and have unlimited communication, which spurs a successful coach - athlete relationship. Services include:
  • Initial review and evaluation of training and racing history
  • Fitness testing (through time trial) and set up of heart rate training zones
  • Goal setting - short and long term to include performance and outcome goals
  • Set up of the "Racing Year Training Plan" including:
    • Determination of yearly and weekly hours
    • Strength Training
    • Base Training
    • Build and peak training for races
    • Racing schedule
  • Detailed Daily Training Workouts (provided 2-3 weeks at a time for optimal planning)
  • Race strategy and tactical development
  • Bike fit
  • Analysis of training progress (through testing) and race results
  • Nutrition and supplement advice
  • Consultations on equipment and components
  • Telephone and email communications ("Open door" policy)
